Goalkeeper training is back!

By Robert Harwood

Specialist hour long training sessions on a Wednesday night at Butt Field

I'm please to announce that Goalkeeper training is back at Butt Field from Wednesday 10th October.

There will be two back to back sessions for different age groups provided by the club FREE of charge and delivered by Ady Osborne from Nottingham Forest Community Trust. The weekly sessions will run for six weeks:

6pm - 7pm U8s to U11s
7pm - 8pm U12s to U16s

Session dates: Oct 10th, 17th, 24th (then one week half term break), Nov 7th, 14th, 21st

Team managers should be in touch with parents over the next couple of days to confirm if they wish their son/daughter to join the sessions.

'This is a great opportunity for youngsters who play in goal (or would like to) to gain valuable coaching from an experienced coach for probably the most specialised position on the pitch and the one that our fantastic BTFC coaches sometimes struggle a little bit with' Rob Harwood, Chairman

Last year, fifteen Bingham Town keepers took advantage of these FREE sessions and the feedback from coaches, keepers and parents alike was 100% positive.

Because of player/coach ratios, spaces are limited to 10 goalkeepers per session. Get your goalkeeper signed up as soon as possible by emailing details of the player's name, BTFC team they play for, email address, mobile contact number to:
